Job Purpose Summary: On our team, everyone plays a critical role. As the Assistant Manager, you will be assisting with a variety of management tasks for our Tennyson store. He/she will also continue to assist our amazing customers with finding or creating a beautiful jewelry item(s) whether it takes place in our beautiful showroom or through the custom design experience.
Reports To: Store Manager
Type: Full Time position
Salary: $28/hr - $31/hr (Depending on Experience) plus benefits
Benefits: Medical insurance, 401k match, paid time off, possible monthly bonuses based on sales goals.
Provides exemplary customer service to patrons by offering product knowledge and building relationships and rapport with shoppers.
Handles elevated customer issues to maintain the company’s high level reputation.
Is consistently customer centric in his/her actions and understands the value of creating long- term relationships with customers. Documents these issues for future learnings.
Works with the Store Manager to come up with solutions in opportunity areas and create efficiencies within stores.
Oversees the sales team in tandem with the Store Manager. Responsible for daily oversight of client appointments, walk-ins and workflow.
Sets clear expectations and holds the team accountable.
Meets regularly with the sales team as well as the Store Manager.
Responsible for setting the example of an “ideal” shopping and overall customer experience.
Oversees visual merchandising for the Tennyson location.
Ensures the sales staff maintains the sales floor and displays per company and brand standards on a daily basis.
Keeps abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store.
Maintains a custom design workload that is in balance with his/her other responsibilities.
Connects with the Store Manager of Tennyson on a weekly basis to discuss relevant projects, support needed and business needs.
Participates in inventory counts and the follow-up reports that result.
Assists the Store Manager with the training of new staff members regarding sales and operational responsibilities.
Partners with the design team to ensure an efficient and customer focused design process exists with front of staff.
Assists the Store Managers, Leads and Sales Associates with daily tasks when needed.
Contributes to the function of the business by seeking out knowledge about policy and product.
Maintains accuracy and consistency within all processes and procedures. Assists with “All team Training meetings” when necessary.
Works at Dairy Block location when scheduling needs arise.
Works a regular schedule with time off requests that are conducive with traffic levels, season, and fair to hourly expectations.
Takes a self-motivated approach to job expansion and knowledge by seeking out answers and understanding.
Up to speed and fully trained in permanent jewelry to assist with appointments.
Accepts other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
3+ years of experience in management or oversight of a retail store is preferred
3+ years of customer service experience is required
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
History of exceeding visual and merchandising standards
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with others
Flexible ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Self-starter, proactively seeks out projects
Ability to create a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration

Job Purpose Summary: At Sarah O., every team member plays a vital role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class customer experience, meeting company goals through expert product knowledge, personal engagement, and luxury service. In addition, you will assist with daily administrative tasks that support the sales function and overall team success.
Reports To: Store Manager
Salary: $20-$23 (Depending on Experience) plus benefits

Provide a world-class customer experience by greeting customers, building rapport, identifying their jewelry needs, and guiding them through a seamless purchase process.
Continuously expand knowledge of fine jewelry, the Sarah O. brand, and internal processes to better serve our customers.
Keep customers informed about relevant products, events, promotions, policies, and services.
Maintain an organized and clean showroom and stockroom, assisting with event preparations, seasonal transitions, and new marketing campaigns.
Ensure the showroom’s case displays are well-maintained by re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day, and communicate inventory levels to Sales Leadership.
Assist with customer orders and repairs, respond to customer inquiries, and manage phone and email communication, as well as preparing order shipments.
Consistently follow internal processes and procedures with accuracy.
Foster positive working relationships across the company.
Assist with Sales Team projects as needed.
Take on other duties as assigned.
Minimum 3 years of retail experience (luxury or fine jewelry experience preferred).
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Ability to remain flexible and quickly adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Self-starter who proactively seeks out projects and opportunities.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.
Availability to work a regular schedule, including weekends and holidays, in line with traffic levels, seasonality, and company needs.
