This collection started, quite literally, in the dirt. Last year, Sarah and Hannah packed their boots and their curiosity, and headed to Montana—where sapphires can be sustainably mined in the wild. With help from local experts, they sifted through gravel and sorted stones by hand, uncovering a small batch of rough sapphires that stood out instantly. Each one had a unique color, shape, or sparkle that hinted at something special, and they knew right away they wanted to bring these gems back to Colorado to create something truly meaningful.

Back in Denver, each stone was carefully cleaned, cataloged, and sent to our trusted cutters—experts who coax out the unique beauty within every facet. What returned were six one-of-a-kind sapphires, each with its own personality, shape, and shade—ranging from oceanic blues to deep violets and warm, sunset-like tones.

But the story didn’t end there.

We took each sapphire and paired it with a Voyage setting—a Sarah O. signature known for its dreamy shapes, romantic halos, and modern heirloom appeal. The result? Six rings. Six chapters. Six wearable works of art that carry the memory of that Montana trip in every sparkle and stone.
